Opening files

Results Hub is the place to inspect saved evidence and its files.

• PDB and mmCIF open in the Mol* 3D viewer.
• PDF opens in the browser PDF viewer.
• JSON, TSV, FASTA, SDF, and similar text files open in a readable file view or download according to the file type.
• Every evidence row keeps its Source link even when no local file was fetched.

The viewer is read-only. It does not alter the evidence or provenance record.

Missing files

A saved record can exist before its file is available. This is normal for paywalled papers, unavailable database formats, and large remote outputs. Missing Files shows those rows so you can retrieve them later: file ↗ opens the source, and Manual Upload attaches what you downloaded. The source record and metadata remain usable while the file is missing.

Organisation

Results are grouped as Category → Tool → Run → Evidence. Each file saved for one selected item remains its own evidence row, so computational tools can use the exact format they require.

All Files pages are scoped slices of Results Hub and use the same grouping and evidence cards. They do not maintain a second copy of the data.
