Notes
Shared, freely editable markdown notes — the scratchpad tier between private chat and permanent evidence.
Notes
Notes are the project's shared scratchpad. They live in the panel on the right, which you open with the Notes handle at the screen's right edge.
What they're for
Working thoughts, running logs, meeting outcomes, drafts — anything more permanent than a chat message but that doesn't need the full evidence treatment.
Notes are:
- Shared. Every project member can read and edit every note. There are no private per-user notes.
- Freely editable. Edit in place, as often as you like. Not versioned.
- Deletable. No confirmation and no dependency check, because nothing can ever depend on a note.
- Outside the evidence record. A note has no checksum and no provenance.
Where notes come from
Create one directly with + New note, or click Save as note on any assistant reply. A note saved from the assistant records that the assistant drafted it and that you were the one who saved it.
Turning a note into something permanent
Each note has Save a copy as report, which compiles it into a Word document saved as evidence. The note itself is untouched — you end up with both.
Use that when a note has settled into something you'd want to defend or hand over.
Pinned notes
A pinned note is included in the assistant's context on every single turn for this project, not just when it seems relevant. That makes pinning the right tool for standing instructions — conventions, constraints, things the team has agreed.
